There was a very wet pitch, mud and pools that marshals tried to dry in goal areas in the Letná stadium in Zlín. The ball passed from one player to another swiftly but there were not many scoring chances before the break. The second half brought a more dramatic show and Boleslav the pleasure of an excellent header by Táborský that decided the result of the match. Mladá Boleslav won the third consecutive league match. And repaid Zlín perfectly for the autumn home defeat 0:1. The team moved to the sixth position of the 1st Gambrinus League standings.
A balanced football match was played on the pitch in Zlín in the first half even if the Zlín players got in more dangerous scoring chances in front of the goal.
Miller did not reach a long centre pass by Musil that rebounded from the crossbar of his goal. The Boleslav defenders then managed to get the rebounded ball to a safe distance from their goal.
The Mladá Boleslav team started the second half apparently more actively.
The Zlín players missed a corner kick after which Zbožínek headed the ball over the crossbar. Boleslav responded with a swift attack along the left-hand side. Táborský standing in the goal area directed a centre pass by Poláček with his head so perfectly that the goalkeeper Kořínek was unable to save it in the 72nd minute – 0:1.
The Zlín players pushed against the Mladá Boleslav goal in the last quarter but they did not defeat it. They were closest to an equalizing goal in the 85th minute. Elšík shot from the area of the penalty mark after two consecutive corner kicks but Miller saved his smashing shot excellently. And four minutes of extra time changed nothing to the win of Mladá Boleslav.
