Riegel Must Undergo Operation, Abraham Can Do Only Jogging

The defensive midfielder Jan Riegel will lie down on a bed in the operating room in order to have operated his left knee front cross ligament that he injured during a training session in October. The forward Petr Mikolanda still has not cured his broken metatarsal bone on his right foot. The midfielder Martin Abraham who started only do light jogging after fracture of little toe on his left foot is also out of play. The goalkeeper Miroslav Miller also stayed in a sick bay with broken finger of his left hand, however, he returned already in the goal in the match against Ostrava. The left full back Jaroslav Nesvadba who was ruled out from training sessions because of suspicion of damaged ligaments of his right knee experienced his premiere in the Boleslav shirt in the same match. A detailed examination did not prove the initial cruel diagnosis fortunately so that he could return on the pitch after subsiding the pain in the hurt knee. The striker Luboš Pecka did not completed the league match in Ostrava because of heavy bruise of his left kneecap. He passes trainings with relief for the time being and it will emerge only in the end of the week whether he will be able to come on field against Most in full strength. Moreover to standard football injuries, influenzal virosis crept in the dressing room in the week between the matches against Brno and Slavia. The complete team felt its presence by pain in joints, general fatigue of organism and other accompanying effects of influenzal disease. Matějovský, Palát,Vaculík and Poláček passed flu with so dramatic course that they did not eat properly for several days and lost several kilograms of body weight. What did not added them energy and enthusiasm for football at all.
