The Boleslav players failed to win for a fourth successive match. Moreover, they did not even manage to score for the second match running. Plzeň overcame them through two successful headers from corner kicks. Navrátil scored from the first one in the 30th minute and Kolář was successful from a second one in the opening minutes of the second half. The Boleslav players were unsettled, turning the ball over in the midfield and their occasional attacks saw their shots off target. The referees denied Procházka a goal in the final minutes of the match but the Plzeň players missed at least double the number of scoring chances.
The Ostrava team surprised the Boleslav players with two first half goals, stopping their winning autumn campaign, cancelling their invincibility at home and forfeiting their second place in the Gambrinus liga. The Boleslav players unsuccessfully tried to reverse the unfavourable score line in the second half, but failed to capitalise on some big chances and wasted many attacks with misplaced passes.
A shootout on a cold Sunday evening by the Nisa River ended with shared points which delighted the Liberec players as they overcame a two-goal deficit in the second half. Boleslav were better than the North Bohemians, but they recklessly threw away a match which had started excellently. Despite the fact they remain in second position in the league standings, the gap between Mladá Boleslav and the leading Slavia Prague, was extended by two points. The anger of the players at the elementary mistakes made in defensive was too late and a useless reaction, and did not stop the points slipping through their fingers.
The Boleslav players took a three goal lead in Teplice before late drama saw an apparently easy win disappear as their rivals fought back to within one goal. Teplice was without their suspended defender Klein while Boleslav were missing their midfielder Poláček, also though suspension. Hapal, the Boleslav Coach, brought Kysela into the midfield line and left the remaining squad unchanged. His opponent Plíšek made six changes to the starting line-up from their last league match.
In spite of the many scoring opportunities in front of both goals, the Gambrinus liga’s match of the 11th round ended goalless and the top of the league standings remain unchanged with Slavia Praha ahead of Mladá Boleslav by two points. The Boleslav players slightly edged the play but they were unlucky and didn’t take their chances. Michal Papadopulos twice found himself one on one with the Slavia keeper Vaniak who also saved a deflected strike from Sylvestre.
The Boleslav team was the front-runner in a match between the third and tenth placed teams of the current Gambrinus liga standings. This combined with a sunny Sunday afternoon to promise an interesting show. Procházka opened the scoring with a goal arriving on the half hour mark. Kalina and Pecka joined him after the break. Mladá Boleslav scored three times for the first time this season. A successfully taken Příbram penalty did not stop Boleslav from jumping to the top of the Gambrinus liga.
Mladá Boleslav earned three points in a high quality match in Žižkov. Sylvestre opened the scoring in the 18th minute; Švancara then equalised from a free kick four minutes after the break before the sharpshooter Pecka smashed the winning goal after a perfectly centred pass from Mach in the 72nd minute. Pavel Hapal left Papadopulos on the bench for the first time, which was the only change to the line-up from the previous matches. Csaplár, the Žižkov head-coach, made two changes. He deployed Bartalský in goal instead of Hruška and returned Stracený to the midfield line instead of Vukadinovič.
The Boleslav team was the front-runner in the match against the last team in the league standings that had not managed to win any of its five preceding matches and had the leakiest defence of all participants in the Gambrinus League with eleven goals conceded. The differences in the team’s performances were apparent during the first half. The Boleslav players were surer in their combinations and in most of the face to face duels. They took the lead deservedly, however, they robbed themselves of three points with an own goal and imprecise defensive play in the second half. They did not gain a point but lost two in České Budějovice.
The Boleslav players were a clear front-runner before the match. They were ten positions higher in the league standings and had not lost any of the previous ten league matches played against Kladno. Poláček fulfilled expectations with a goal scored within 41 seconds. Pecka then joined him with his first goal scored since his return to the Gambrinus League but nobody else from the Boleslav team followed them. When Killar, the Kladno skipper retaliated, albeit luckily towards the conclusion of the match, the packed Boleslav stadium feared for the points. Fortunately, they stayed in Mladá Boleslav.
The Boleslav players ended a two-year waiting period for a win against their rival from Olomouc who showed why they had not lose the four preceding league matches in the Boleslav Městský stadión in the second half. The Boleslav players earned a well deserved two-goal lead in the first half when Řezníček and Poláček overcame Drobisz in the 8th and 30th minutes respectively. Hořava from Olomouc replied in the 57th minute and the struggle for points continued until the last minute of the match. Mladá Boleslav jumped to the third position in the league standings thanks to the win over Olomouc.
