Pecka desolated Budějovice

Both teams tried to play offensively from the opening minute. For the first five minutes, the ball moved only on the half of České Budějovice, however, Táborský from Budějovice team had the first real scoring chance. But his effort was spoiled by Miller.
The players of Budějovice tried to overcome the defence of Mladá Boleslav mainly through Poborský. But he suffered an injury during the first half and was substituted. Mladá Boleslav attempted to attack from both sides. Kysela made Kladrubský running on the right-hand wing while Plocek was employed by Poláček along the left-hand line.
In the 21st minute, Pecka guided the ball after a free kick of Matějovský almost perfectly, but in the end, the ball missed the right-hand corner of the goal of Budějovice only by millimetres. The referee stopped mess in front of Miller after a centre pass of Poborský by whistling a foul on the goalkeeper of Mladá Boleslav six minutes before the break. Both Kysela and Dittrich missed their chances; Dittrich overshot the goal of Budějovice from ten-meter distance impetuously five minutes before the end of the first half.
Rajnoch kicked the jumping ball three minutes after the break and even if he did not hit it properly, Pecka got it before the goalkeeper and changed its direction sufficiently so that it could end in the net of České Budějovice - 0:1.
Mladá Boleslav dominated on the pitch in the second half even if its defenders forgot Holenda whose header cleared the crossbar only tightly in the 52nd minute. The players of Boleslav were more active and their combinations were more precise. But their neat and brisk operations missed goal effect for long time. Only in the 72nd minute, Brunclík passed the ball from the right-hand line to Rajnoch who sent Kysela in chance by excellent perpendicular pass and he got the ball in the net along the goalkeeper running out of his goal - 0:2.
Pecka topped good performance of the complete team in the end of the match. The operation started by a corner kick performed by Poláček. He passed the ball to Matějovský and his pass found Holub unattended in the penalty area. His precise centre pass was aimed precisely at the best league scorer who only guided the ball so that the goalkeeper Křížek could not reach it - 0:3. This happened in the 90th minute and other 180 seconds of extra time changed nothing on the decisive victory of Mladá Boleslav.
