They Lost but the Head-Coach Praised Them

"I must praise the team for the performance presented, the players were more active than the opponent," said the head-coach of Mladá Boleslav after the match who branded the early conceded goal and chance for equalization missed by Kulič in the first half as the fatal moments. The captain of Mladá Boleslav appeared quite alone in front of the goalkeeper of Ostrava Raška after Vaculík's pass but he missed the goal. "I should score from such a chance," wore sackcloth and ashes Kulič.
He alone failed to score in all of thirteen league matches and Pecka who left the pitch early because of an injury also failed to score in Ostrava. Kulič's chance and above the preceding combination attack indicated that it could be possible to overcome the opponent and to think of league points even on a heavy pitch. But it did not happen in spite of the fact that Mladá Boleslav was a better team in some stages of the second half.
"I dare to say that we did not deserve to lose but we missed luck tonight," said Marek Matějovský who was selected by the TV spectators as the man of the match. "I would prefer exchanging the individual prize for points," added he with genuine disappointment. "I appreciate that we were successful in the match against the team of so high quality," paid the team of Mladá Boleslav compliment the head-coach of Ostrava Večeřa.
