Papadopulos and Řezníček close the autumn account
The suspended Procházka and Rajnoch were missing as was the injured Hrdlička. Rolko came into the defence for Procházka and Opiela played in the centre of the midfield line, alongside an unexpectedly defensive Pecka who took over the captain’s armband from Rajnoch. Papadopulos was left to operate in a lone role in the forward line but was joined by Sylvestre frequently. After a nervous performance in the first half, the players turned their tactical plans into a win after the break with Papadopulos set up by Mendy and later a great finish from Řezníček after being played in by Opiela found him on the score sheet as well.

Řezníček saves three points
The Boleslav players won a match in which they dominated throughout, however they were unable to turn their dominance into goals. The Bohemians, encouraged by their preceding win against Sparta, came tactically prepared to Mladá Boleslav, as emphasised by a reinforced midfield line consisting of five players. The Boleslav players found it difficult to breakdown Bohemians and only obtained the due to their huge determination to win the match in particular. Substitute Jakub Řezníček diverted a centred pass from Kalina in the 86th minute to secure the win.

Boleslav fail to score for a second time
The Boleslav players failed to win for a fourth successive match. Moreover, they did not even manage to score for the second match running. Plzeň overcame them through two successful headers from corner kicks. Navrátil scored from the first one in the 30th minute and Kolář was successful from a second one in the opening minutes of the second half. The Boleslav players were unsettled, turning the ball over in the midfield and their occasional attacks saw their shots off target. The referees denied Procházka a goal in the final minutes of the match but the Plzeň players missed at least double the number of scoring chances.

Baník knocks Boleslav out of second position
The Ostrava team surprised the Boleslav players with two first half goals, stopping their winning autumn campaign, cancelling their invincibility at home and forfeiting their second place in the Gambrinus liga. The Boleslav players unsuccessfully tried to reverse the unfavourable score line in the second half, but failed to capitalise on some big chances and wasted many attacks with misplaced passes.

Likely win lost in two minutes
A shootout on a cold Sunday evening by the Nisa River ended with shared points which delighted the Liberec players as they overcame a two-goal deficit in the second half. Boleslav were better than the North Bohemians, but they recklessly threw away a match which had started excellently. Despite the fact they remain in second position in the league standings, the gap between Mladá Boleslav and the leading Slavia Prague, was extended by two points. The anger of the players at the elementary mistakes made in defensive was too late and a useless reaction, and did not stop the points slipping through their fingers.
