By winning in Kladno they maintained their leading position in the league
Mladá Boleslav's game was far superior to its Kladno rival in all aspects from the very beginning of the game. Their three goals summed up their superiority. However, they had so many chances that they could easily have scored twice as many. Only Táborský, Sylvestre and Kulič managed to find the back of the net. FK Mladá Boleslav is at the head of the Gambrinus League with the same number of points as Brno, Jablonec and Ostrava.

Retaliation during a half
The Boleslav team demolished their rivals from Liberec in the first half. Pecka scored twice and Kulič and Procházka also scored. Moreover, Mendy hit the woodwork. Nezmar reduced the gap for Liberec just before the break to make the score 4:1. The Boleslav players continued their active play in the second half, however they were unable to increase their advantage. They did however manage to avenge the 1:4 defeat they suffered in April during the first half...

Chramosta almost cancelled a tie
The Boleslav head-coach Dušan Uhrin sent a squad for the opening round match of the Gambrinus liga 2009/10 between SK Slavia Praha and FK Mladá Boleslav without Sylvestre and Pecka. Mendy became the first player to score after a goalless first half. Jarolím equalised for Slavia from an alleged free kick. Chramosta hit the crossbar of an unattended Slavia goal in the last minute.

Boleslav lost Europe in the match against Sparta
Boleslav lost on their home pitch against Sparta and because Olomouc defeated Bohemians and Jablonec demolished the relegated Zlín, the club sunk from fourth position in the standings of the Gambrinus liga and missed out on the coveted participation in European cups. The breaking point in the match came when Hubník punished the hesitation of the Boleslav defence in the last minute of the first half. The Boleslav players tried to reverse the score in vain after the break however Berger and Wilfried ensured Sparta won in the dying minutes of the match.

They lost after two penalty kicks
The Boleslav players were unsuccessful in the match against a Bohemians side from Střížkov struggling to stay in the league. They conceded two goals from penalty kicks. Zoubek scored from the first after the referee ordered the penalty for a foul committed by Hrdlička and Dobeš scored his penalty after a foul by Rolko. Procházka reduced the goal difference immediately after the second penalty kick, however, the Boleslav could not manage to equalize. The opponents from Prague broke the play by simulating injuries and lying on the pitch in an unfair way in the end of the match.
